Venice – Rovinj – Split – Dubrovnik

This exciting holiday begins in one of Italy's most unique destinations - Venice, the famed city on water. Get lost in the maze of narrow alleys lined with artisan shops, cafes, and restaurants. Visit San Marco's Basilica to take in the history and beauty of Venetian architecture, and enjoy a ride down the city's many canals. Don't forget to take a picture from the Rialto bridge and enjoy espresso at one of the city's many piazzas.

Your adventure only begins here, and after Venice, we'll take you to Croatia's Rovinj, probably one of the most picturesque cities you'll ever see. Set in Croatia's region of Istria, often dubbed „the Croatian Tuscany“, this small town greatly resembles Italian destinations, but with a unique Croatian touch.

Moving south, you'll trace the rich Roman history in Croatia by visiting Split with the UNESCO-protected Diocletian's palace in its very heart. This Roman Emperor couldn't imagine a more suitable place for his retirement, and the palace was built for that sole purpose. All life happens within the palace today; festivals and many musical events take place here, bringing ancient walls to life.

Finally, this journey ends in Dubrovnik, well-known around the globe for the grandiose city walls encompassing the stunningly beautiful medieval old town. Stroll down the Stradun promenade or relax by the beach in Lapad; whatever it is you choose to do, this beautiful city won't leave you disappointed!

Welcome to Venice! Our driver will welcome you in the arrivals hall and take you to your hotel in Venice (depending on the hotel location, we'll organise a car or watertaxi transfer for you). Check into your hotel.

Our driver will collect you from your hotel or the nearest pick-up point and drive you to Rovinj in Croatia. The journey lasts around three hours. Arrival in Rovinj & check into your hotel.

Day 6 Private transfer from Rovinj to Split with a visit to Plitvice Lakes on the way

Our driver will collect you from your hotel in Rovinj and drive you to Split. On your way, you'll visit the Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of Croatia's most popular UNESCO-protected wonders. A guided tour of the park & entry tickets are included. Arrival in Split in the late afternoon & check into your hotel.

Free time in Split; explore the ancient Diocletian Palace and Split's old town at leisure or opt for a private guided city tour.
