Best for incredible views and tranquillity at this beautiful boutique property

Located in the tranquil village of Puntera, 5 kms from Barban, with only 6 rooms altogether it is easy to feel special at the small hotel and restaurant, Villa Stefanija.  Family owned and run the accent here is to ensure you feel relaxed whilst enjoying the very best cuisine and wines.  Rooms have all been given Historic girls names native to the area.

In fact, the hotel is named in honour of the Owners Grandmother. The hotel is non smoking throughout. All tastefully furnished rooms are fully air conditioned and have great terraces/balconies to make the most of the incredible views of Cres, Losinj and Unije Islands. All have mini bar, hairdryer, satellite TV, wireless internet, complimentary toiletries and offer bathrobes and slippers.  A bottle of Mineral water is also provided for guests upon arrival.

The hotel has a lovely wellness centre with jacuzzi.  Massage is available on request.  Whilst here, there are plenty of walks and hikes and horseriding and cycle rental is also offered. There is a beach approximately 20km away at Krnica and Rakalj; however, the infinity pool with its comfortable sunbeds and parasols and views over the sea does take some beating ! Breakfast is offered in the restaurant or outside on the terrace.  Buffet in style, eggs are cooked fresh to order.

In the evening we would suggest enjoying the Istrian cuisine which makes the most of the abundance of fresh meat and game in the area, as well as mushrooms, asparagus and fresh herbs. These are all prepared with the greatest care.  Some call it slow cooking, we call it Istrian cuisine at its finest.

Talking of finest, try the  hotel’s excellent wine with lunch, dinner or anytime in between ! Whilst here, we would suggest a trip to Pula to visit Enoteca Istriana, a wine bar and shop owned by the hotel to be found at Forum Square, in the heart of Pula.  We think you will find a few souvenirs and gifts to take home from here.

Completely Croatia says:- This hotel is boutique in every sense of the word, from the finest cotton linen to the best cuisine and service.  Not for those after a thrumming nightlife and sophisticated entertainment but if you like the idea of some nature, breathtaking views,  and a peaceful holiday in Croatia,  you will love this !
