Four-star family run Villa Pattiera boutique hotel is situated at the beginning of the promenade in the old town of Cavtat, in a 19th Century old mansion.
Villa Pattiera is the birth place of the world-famous Croatian opera singer Tino Pattiera (1890 – 1966). He became famous and known around the world as the first tenor of the royal opera house in Dresden and a frequent guest performer at New York’s “Metropolitan”. Pattiera regularly returned to this house for inspiration and to relax in the sun, in the peace and quiet of beautiful Cavtat.
The promenade of Cavtat is beautiful and is ideal for people looking to have everything within close reach. The pebble beach, shops, cafes and bars are all within easy reach providing a great atmosphere for a short stay in this idyllic part of the coast. Dubrovnik town is approximately 30 mins away and is accessible via busses or by regular boat trips. The Airport is a mere 10 min from Cavtat making this the perfect base for the start or end of a multi-centre holiday. This charming hotel has no pool but makes up for it with a lovely small garden.
The old town of Cavtat, in the very centre of the South Adriatic, is situated at the south slopes of the peninsulas Rat and Sustjepan, in the immediate vicinity of the city of Dubrovnik. Nowadays, Cavtat is the tourist and cultural centre of Konavle, the southernmost region of Croatia.
