One of the first hotels to be built on the island of Rab, this 4 star hotel has a grand Victorian look to it, and sits in the lush gardens of Komrcar Park located to the end of the promenade in the town of the same name, Rab.

Recently renovated, the hotel combines classic furniture in the public areas, with more modern facilities in the bedrooms and bathrooms. With 136 rooms in total, there are 6 family rooms. All have satellite TV, mini bar, safe and hairdryer.   WiFi available throughout the hotel.

In the hotel’s main restaurant, breakfast and evening meals are served buffet style and to relax later, there is a piano bar.

Alternatively, visit the wine bar ‘Vino Veritas’ which also has an a la carte bistro. This feels really authentic being rustic in style.  A lovely spot to enjoy a light snack or meal and glass of wine or two.

There is a large outdoor pool, with plenty of sunbeds, parasols and cabanas to choose from. There are three tennis courts and an excellent and affordable wellness/spa area. Mini Golf and table tennis are also available as is a children’s playground.

The closest beach is within an easy 10 minute stroll. And Rab Town itself is on your doorstep, accessed down wide white steps from the front of the hotel. There are other beaches nearby, take the frequent taxi boat.

Rab itself is a stunning walled town.  There are three distinct thoroughfare levels to it, each designed with its own purpose, one level for living, one for shopping and one for dining and socialising! However, this was designed centuries ago, by the Romans. They clearly knew a thing or two! Its immaculate and the white stone gleams in the sunshine. It has culture, class and R&R.
