Hotel Slon (meaning Elephant in Slovenian) is an institution in hospitality; celebrating 460 years of tradition, offering luxurious accommodation and conferencing facilities combined with excellent cuisine at an elite location.

Indulge in a lavish buffet and à la carte breakfast or dine in the Gault & Millau awarded Restaurant Slon 1552, renowned for its perfect blend of tradition and contemporary flavours. In the Zvezda lounge bar guests are spoiled with delicious sweets from their own confectionery workshop, made only from the best ingredients. Now, the glamorous bar also holds a carefully selected range of signature Slon's à la carte dishes. The hotel offers a variety of rooms such as the Comfort Double at 15sqm offering nice city views either on main Slovenska street, interior courtyard and some of them are also offering magnificent views over Ljubljana rooftop’s towards famous Ljubljana castle. Most of them have queen beds but also providing rooms with twin beds and bathrooms with shower or bathtub. Or maybe you prefer something a little larger such as a superior double deluxe room, at 32 sqm, these rooms have a living room area and a signature ‘‘sweet dreams’’ bed concept with 400 thread count bed linens. Luxurious marble bathroom offers walk-in tropical rain shower and L’occitane toiletries.

In the warmer months, they replace the restaurant with a summer garden, which, in addition to selected cuisine, brings a pleasant morning sun.
